Happy 75th Birthday HASSRA!

On the 22nd March 2010 HASSRA will be 75 years old and as part of the celebrations for the diamond jubilee anniversary, we are planning to raise £75,000 for charity throughout 2010. The HASSRA regions are planning all manner of fundraising activities such as family fun days, talent nights, raffles, quiz nights, treasure hunts, sponsored walks and swims.

We need our HASSRA regional offices, regional volunteers, local clubs and members to get organised and support our programme of fundraisers or to devise your own. A cash-ometer on the HASSRA website and in Headlines will keep us updated on how well we are doing and as always, you choose which charities benefit from your efforts.

Tell us what you are doing, who your nominated charity is, when you are doing it and how much you plan to raise and will keep tally by putting it in to the cash-ometer. Speak to your regional business partner to find out how they are collating fund raising details and involve your business manager as they are often able to help with your fundraising efforts and most importantly be creative and dare to be different. Help make HASSRA’s 75th anniversary a celebration to remember.
