HASSRA Regions
Regional Offices
Dedicated regional staff employed solely on HASSRA duties work within our 12 HASSRA regional offices. Regional staff, who are managed by a HASSRA Field Operations Manager, are there to deliver the aims of the organisation at a regional level.
The regional team make decisions on what is happening within the region and also contribute in a number of ways to HASSRA’s national decision making structures. Why not contact your HASSRA regional team even just to say “hello”!
HASSRA Clubs/Regional Boards of Management
Lots of day to day decisions about aspects of HASSRA’s local programme are taken by your local Club Committee or by your Regional Board of Management. Local or activity clubs are run by volunteers and vary considerably to both their size and the type of locations they cover. HASSRA Regional Boards are made up of a mixture of elected volunteer members and HASSRA staff.
Their primary function is to take a strategic view of the running of the Region and determine how the business of the Region should be taken forward. They also give support to local and activity clubs and assist in National decision-making and programme development.
As a HASSRA member, you can influence what is going on in your Club or Region….just get involved! HASSRA Clubs and Regional Associations are always on the look-out for volunteers who can spare some time to help, in all sorts of ways, to make the local and regional scene active and vibrant.
In any event, you can always contact your local Club Committee, especially if it is to influence the local club activity. Each HASSRA Club and Region is required to hold an Annual General Meeting where you can find out what’s happened over the year and what’s planned for the following year. Regional Business Partners welcome your comments and suggestions.
