HASSRA East of England had the pleasure of hosting the 2009 National (Coarse) Angling Championships which was held at Barford Lakes, Norwich.

2009 Winners:

All 12 regions were represented at this event.

Chris Knights (East of England) won the individual event whilst Simon Higgs (East Midlands) took second place and Martin Rowell (North East) took the 3^rd place.

The East Midlands Team took the Team prize from the reigning champions North East.

2010 Event:

The next National Championship will be hosted by HASSRA Fylde in July 2010. Exact date and venue is yet to be confirmed. There will be individual and team events with each HASSRA region sending three competitors.
