HASSRA West Midlands had the pleasure of hosting the 2007 National (Coarse) Angling Championships which was held at Larkford Lakes.

2007 Winners:

Most Anglers marvelled at the facilities and setting of the lake, all were impressed at the amount of fish available.

Andy Edgington (West Midlands) won the individual event with a massive haul of 164lbs 12oz whilst Chris Knights (East of England) took second place from Ian Boyd (East Midlands) in 3^rd place.

The East Midlands Team of Gordon Smith, Ian Boyd and Simon Higgs took the Team prize from their friends and rivals West Midlands.

2008 Event:

The next National Championship will be hosted by HASSRA South West on 18^th July 2008 in Tewkesbury.
There will be individual and team events with each HASSRA region sending three competitors.
