HASSRA South East had the pleasure of hosting the 2011 National (Coarse) Angling Championships held on 29^th July fished at Monk Lakes, Maidstone.

2011 Winners

All 12 regions were represented at this event.

The individual award went to Andy Edgington (West Midlands) coming first with a huge winning weight of 225lb 7oz. Second place went to Gordon Smith (East Midlands) with 216lb 12oz and in third place was Martin Rowell (North East) with 199lb 2oz.

North East (Martin Rowell, Steve Guy and Nigel Ripley) won the team award for the second year running.

2012 Event

The next National Championship will be hosted by HASSRA North East on 27^th July.
