The 2009 National finals took place in Hatfield and was hosted by HASSRA East of England.

All 12 HASSRA regions were represented.

2009 Winners:

Ladies competition
In the Ladies semi finals, Lucy Rogerson (South West) took on Lorraine Grice winning 3-2 and Jane Doig (Wales) went through after beating Natalie Woods (East of England) 3-1 in the second semi final.

In the final Jane regained her title winning 4 – 1 against Lucy Rogerson.

Mens competition

Stephen Ainsworth (Scotland) went through having defeated Rob Moxham (North West) 5 – 2 and John Williams (Wales) beat Kavandeep Aiyla (London) 5 – 3 to join Stephen in the final. John took the title, winning 6 – 5 against Stephen.

2010 Event:

The next National Championship will be staged on 12^th November 2010 in Stirling and will be hosted by HASSRA Scotland.

There will be a Ladies and a Men’s competition with each HASSRA region sending one competitor for each.
