One of the biggest events in the HASSRA Calendar is Special Event. This is now a biennial event that has been running since 1962 and brings together some 600 HASSRA members to compete for their region in a variety of sporting and non sporting activities.

Each region accumulates points for each event depending on their placing. At the end of the day, all points for each region are totalled and the region with the most points is awarded the Directors Trophy. Have a look at previous years’ winners.

Special Event: Olympiad 2012

The next Special Event: Olympiad 2012 will have an Olympic theme and will take place on 14^th September at Lancaster University hosted by HASSRA North West. Events to include:-

National Snooker and Pool

National Mixed Rounders

National General Knowledge Quiz

Archery
