‘Skools Out’ 2008

One of the biggest events in the HASSRA Calendar is Special Event. This is an annual event that has been running since 1962 and brings together some 600 HASSRA members to compete for their region in a variety of sporting and non sporting activities.

Each region accumulates points for each event depending on their placing. At the end of the day, all points for each region are totalled and the region with the most points is awarded the Directors Trophy. Have a look at previous years’ winners.

‘Skools Out’ 2008 will be hosted by HASSRA Yorkshire & The Humber at Sheffield University on Friday 5^th September 2008.

The events are: School Sports Day, Treasure Hunt, Console Gaming, School Quiz, National Sports Quiz Championships & National Chess Championships.

The entertainment includes a School Disco, School Summer Fair & the School Prom.
