HASSRA is running a special event in September which celebrates the talents amongst our members in specialised competitions such as Chess and a Sports quiz, but this year is extra special as a fun time is being arranged for all as we go back in time to our school days! This prestigious event attracts hundreds of members and is attended by the VIPs amongst HASSRA’s Presidents such as Hugh Taylor CB Department of Health Permanent Secretary, Sir Liam Donaldson Chief Medical Officer, Tim Smith Chief Executive of Food Standard Agency, and Bernie Keay, Chairperson of HASSRA. Everyone looks forward to the moment when the awards are presented for each event, and best of all, points do mean prizes as the region scoring the most points throughout the event wins the coveted Directors Trophy! If you are looking to develop skills in leadership, teamwork, organising, communicating and using your own initiative – whether as a HASSRA member or not – this is an ideal opportunity, plus have fun at the same time!
