Flat Green Bowls

The 2009 national finals took place at Mount Florida Bowling Club in Glasgow and was hosted by HASSRA Scotland.

There are three competitions within this event, Men’s Singles, Ladies Singles and a Pairs event with each HASSRA Association sending four competitors to the competition.

2009 Winners:

Mens Singles :

Winner: Leigh Moses (Wales)

Runner-up: Robert Hebblewhite (Yorkshire & The Humber)

Ladies Singles :

Winner: Linda Hough (North West)

Runner-up:Karen Simmons (East of England)

Pairs :

Winners:Paul Higginson & Russell Pearce (East Midlands)

Runners-up: Gary Johnstone & Hugh McCrindle (Scotland)

2010 Event:

The next National Flat Green Bowls event will be held on 2^nd July 2010 in Bournemouth and will be hosted by HASSRA South West.
