HASSRA 2010 Bike Competition – Rules & Conditions
HASSRA is delighted to offer members one of eight chances to win a Halfords bike and accessories to the value of £250. However, all competition entrants shall be bound by all of the following rules: -
1. The HASSRA 2010 Bike competition is open to full and retired HASSRA members only.
2. Only one entry shall be accepted per member, with correct entries entered into a draw for one of three prizes,
3. The closing date for receipt of all entries shall be midnight on Thursday 30th September 2010
4. There are eight prizes on offer each comprising: -
A Halfords bike and accessories to the value of £250.
5. Prize-winners are unable to exchange the stated prize. No other prize, cash or otherwise, shall be available in the event of the prize-winner being unable to avail themselves of the notified prize.
6. With the exception of the prize composition listed at paragraph 4 above, responsibility for all additional costs connected with the prize shall rest solely with the winner.
7. All entrants, by virtue of their entry, shall be deemed to have agreed to co-operate with reasonable requests to gather feedback on the prize(s) awarded and to feature reports on winners via whichever media HASSRA sees fit
8. Should a winning member require leave from work in order to avail themselves of their prize, responsibility for securing such required and authorised time-off shall rest solely with the winner.
9. Prizes are provided for the use of members and their immediate family and friends. Prizes must not be transferred or passed on to third parties for profit or gain. Should a winner not to able to utilise their notified prize, the prize must be declined. HASSRA reserves the right to award such declined prizes to other entrants as necessary/appropriate.
10. Upon notification of their prize, all winners shall confirm to the HASSRA Corporate Services whether or not they wish to accept the notified prize.
11. Any prizes declined by prize-winners shall be allocated to other entrants via a draw with the procedures detailed at rules 9 and 10 above, repeated until all prizes are allocated and have been accepted.
12. Results of the competition shall be published on the HASSRA site on the DWP Intranet system and on the HASSRA site on the Internet or can be obtained from the HASSRA Corporate Services, The Balcony, Level 2, The Adelphi, 1-11 John Adam Street, London WC2N 6HT after Friday 22nd October 2010.
