Welcome to Tennis This Championship is a team event. HASSRA’s team consists of Ladies doubles, Men’s doubles and Mixed doubles teams. | |||

As this event is organised by the CSSC (Civil Service Sports & Leisure), players are required to be members of both HASSRA and CSSC. The 2008 Tournament was staged at the Nottingham Tennis Centre on 3rd – 5th September and was played on a ‘round robin ‘basis. This allowed plenty of play for all of the teams entered. HASSRA Ladies ‘A’ Team (Joyce Langham, Julie Barham, Gillian Crossett and Jane Rimmer), for the 9th consecutive year, retained their title as Champions. It was a close run competition with the winners being decided on the final match between HASSRA ‘A’ team and HMRC 1. HASSRA Ladies ‘B’ team (Debra Young, Lesley Whitehead, Sarah Martin and Margaret Worsick) took 5th place, HASSRA Men’s ‘A’ team (John Williams, Peter Ellwood, Martin Hollister and Jamie Moore) came 4th in division one and HASSRA Men’s ‘B’ team (Jeremy Pepper, Richard Mole, Nigel Williams and Never Muskwe) achieved 2nd place in the second division.
