About HASSRA East of England

HASSRA East of England was formed on 1^st October 2005, following the Boundary Changes Project.

Offices within Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex (Not London Boroughs), Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire are covered by this new Region.

• The following officers are responsible for the day to day running of the Region:-

Lynn Bowman - Regional Manager

Rob Redwood - Regional Assistant and Finance Manager

East of England is governed by its own Regional Board of Management, Chaired by Carolyn Taylor (JCP District Manager, St Albans) and the committee meets on a quarterly basis to review/decide policy for the Region.

Since our conception in October 05 we have sourced new Membership Benefits which include Cinema tickets (Odeon/Cineworld & Vue), discounted tickets for Whipsnade Wildlife Park, Colchester Zoo, Pleasurewood Hills and agreed FREE entry to Paradise Park on production of the HASSRA Membership Card (holder only). We continue to promote our National Trust Cards and other benefits on our Intranet pages.

We are always looking for new benefits and during 2006 introduced a series of FREE competitions which seemed to go down well. These prizes ranged from FREE tickets to some of our existing attractions and others to county shows etc which the Region purchased.

We will continue with our Annual Questionnaire which provided important feedback from our members and this will be issued in January. Prizes will be awarded to 2 lucky people drawn at random from the returned forms.
