Regional Men’s & Ladies Squash CompetitionFriday 27th November 2008Start time and venue: To be confirmed on receipt of entries Expressions of interest are requested from Full or retired HASSRA Fylde members to participate in the annual Squash competition.
Anybody interested should contact John Coates (contact details below) to register their interest in this event which decide who represents HASSRA Fylde in the forthcoming National Championships which are to be hosted by HASSRA Wales in January.

Norcross Social Centre Xmas Draw EveningThursday 11th December, 7.30pmVenue: Norcross Social ClubEntry is free for the Social Centre’s annual extravaganza where hundreds of prizes will be won by some lucky members. A “free” ticket for the additional raffle that will take place on the night, and “free” mulled wine and mince pies!

Fylde Annual Regional AwardsClosing Date: February 2nd 2009Nominations are now required to reward colleagues and Clubs affiliated to HASSRA Fylde who have during 2008 made a contribution to HASSRA Fylde and its work. These awards are:-
Additionally to recognise hard work over a period of years there are other Awards, which are:-
LETS MAKE SURE MEMBERS and CLUBS RECEIVE DESERVED RECOGNITION FOR THEIR WORK and PARTICIPATION The criteria for all awards is available from John Coates (contact details below), and should be supported with as much evidence as possible, copies of previous winning nominations can be also be supplied as examples of how submissions should be written. Prizes are awarded to the winners, and runners up, as well an invite to those short listed to attend with their personal guest the Regional Awards Dinner on March 27th at the DeVere Herons Reach Hotel.
Anybody interested should contact John Coates (contact details below) to register their nominations for colleagues, or their Club. Self nominations are accepted for all awards. The winning entries will be submitted to National HASSRA for the relevant National Awards.

HASSRA Fylde Annual General MeetingThursday 19th March 2009Venue: Norcross Social Club, 4.00pmThe meeting is open to all HASSRA Fylde members – though votes are limited to one per affiliated club (who must be represented), Officers and current Board members.
Light refreshments are provided, and you can learn something about how the Association is administered. Nominations closing date for nominations March 5th, are also required from members to become a part of the decision making body – the Board of Management, as well as other important sub Committees that undertake work on behalf of the Board. Anybody interested should contact John Coates (contact details below) for the prospectus which background knowledge to the bodies involved and an idea of the work involved.
