Jack and the Beanstalk

20 to 27 January 2024 at the Lyric Theatre, Dinnington

Join in the fun as Dinnington Operatic Society brings the family panto Jack and the Beanstalk to the Lyric Theatre, Laughton Road, Dinnington from 20 to 27 January 2024.  

Giant Buster Gut-Bucket is terrorising the villagers of Windy Bottom! Can Jack defeat him and win the hand of the fair Princess Charlotte? Get your tickets to find out! Jack and the Beanstalk has all the usual panto magic ingredients – a dame, a hero, an idiot, a witch, a fairy, a love story, singing, dancing, lots of comedy and a happy ending. 

There is a large free car park right behind the Lyric Theatre and another a little further along Laughton Road. There is also free on street parking outside the theatre for the evening/Sunday shows. 

There are nine performances to choose from:

Saturday 20 January 12.15pm and 5.15pm;

Sunday 21 January 2.15pm;

Tuesday 23 to Friday 26 January 7.15pm;

Saturday 27 January 2.15pm and 7.15pm

Prices for the performance on Tuesday 23 January is a disability-friendly relaxed performance, permitting noise and movement in the auditorium.

£7.50 for HASSRA Sheffield and Rotherham  members

£5 for members of both HASSRA Sheffield and Rotherham and CSSC

£10 Non-member 

Prices for all the other performances

£9 for HASSRA Sheffield and Rotherham members

£6 for members of both HASSRA Sheffield and Rotherham and CSSC

£12 Non-member 

The discounts will also apply to up to 2 children per member.
