Ten Pin Bowling

Venue and Timings

The event will commence at 14.00pm (registration open from 13.00pm) on Friday 6th September and will continue on Saturday 7th September.

It will take place at Nuneaton Bowl, St David’s Way, Bermuda Park, Nuneaton, CV10 7SD. 

Participants are requested to go directly to the playing venue on the Friday, and transport will be provided to and from the venue on the Saturday.

Should players require transport from the playing venue to the University on the Friday please contact your Regional Event Manager.

Event Format and Rules

This is a National Championship event.

Each region will be invited to select a maximum of two men and two women to take part in this competition.

The Championships will comprise of a Ladies’ Masters Tournament (Scratch and Handicap), a Men’s Masters Tournament (Scratch and Handicap), plus a Mixed Pairs and a Team event (both Handicap only). All players will play a total of six games over the course of the event, with 3 games being played on each day.

Lanes will be allocated via a random draw which will be made prior to the Championships, with teams playing on a different pair of lanes for the morning and afternoon sessions. With 12 lanes being used, teams will play in their respective regions.

Further competition rules and the order of play will be made available to all competitors prior to the event.

Kit and Equipment

Bowls and bowling shoes will be available to all competitors at the event.

Competitors are able to bring their own bowls and shoes, but must ensure they comply with the venue rules.

Lunch will be provided and refreshments are available to purchase throughout the day.
