Annual General Meeting
Friday 8th March 2024 3 – 5 pm.
At The Old George pub Newcastle (function room) Post code: NE1 1EZ.
There will be a prize draw which all attendees will be entered in to.
Anyone who is not on the committee who wishes to attend the AGM, please e-mail HASSRA.JC-TVP@DWP.GSI.GOV.UK stating AGM in the title (by 4th March to allow for sufficient seats/refreshments to be made available for attendees.
**non-members are also welcome to attend**
If anyone is interested in joining the committee, you are welcome to come along and see what the role entails
We are incredibly proud of our achievements as a local HASSRA Club. We have continued to maintain & grow our membership such is our reputation for providing value for money events and benefits for our members. We currently have over 1300 members affiliated to our club across 14 locations.
We strive to provide a range of benefits and events for our members, continue to support wellbeing and engagement by providing funds, competitions, members draws and collaborate with other associations to provide additional offers and value for money for our members covering a range of interests and ages across our membership base & locations.

Offers And Benefits
As well as National and Regional HASSRA offers, by joining our local club you have access to the following -
Beamish corporate passes - We have 2 corporate passes available FREE for members. To apply, email our Inbox for bookings for current month or 1 month In advance (example if wanting book for Feb 24 then would need request during Jan) The pass can only be used on day of booking as single use, as other members may have booked on alternative dates. The museum monitor the use of each pass and reports can be requested to investigate any abuse of the offer, membership checks will be conducted before pass is approved.
YOUR HASSRA - Cashback offer Enables members to claim up to £10 back for any social or sports event. This includes but not limited to train tickets, meals out, sports events and theatre tickets. Maximum of 2 separate claims per year per member
Day Trips - Bus Trips for members, thier friends & family - York Saturday 29th June, Whitby Saturday 10th August & Saturday 23rd November, Macarthur Glen & York Christmas Markets
Competitions & Members Draws -We have built a reputation of providing generous Prize draws for our members providing cash prizes, experience days, annual memberships, and vouchers by continuously searching for ideas for prizes to suit a vast range of interests and ages. Valentines Draw coming soon
