Sheffield Tigers Speedway - An exhilarating and thrilling family evening.

Organiser Kathleen Bulmer shares 'I still have fond memories as a 5/6 year old of the smell and the atmosphere and thrills of watching a speedway match, sitting high above everything on my dad’s shoulders. Why not experience that child within you and attend a Premiership meet where the Sheffield Tigers will race against Birmingham? ' 

An interesting fact: Speedway bikes are powered by 500cc single cylinder engines, use fixed gears, have acceleration to match Formula 1 race cars, have NO brakes and virtually NO suspension! It takes a very special sort of bravery to broadside them around such a narrow track.

  • HASSRA Rotherham and Sheffield Adult: £15

  • CSSC Member Adult: £15

  • CSSC and HASSRA Rotherham & Sheffield: £7

  • Non Member Adults: £23

  • Child Up to and including age 17: £1

  • Under 5: Free

Timings

  • 6pm - Turnstiles open. 

  • 7.30pm - The racing starts. 

  • 6pm - The bar, carvery restaurant and the snack bar opens.
