Charity Work

Here in HASSRA Sunderland we do everything we can to support charity on all of our sites. In 2024 we raised a massive £5920 for charity, and this year we want to raise even more!

2025 is the year of supporting Local charities. Earlier this year we asked our members to nominate charities close to their hearts and local causes. We are now using this list to support our local charities with as many donations and as much hard work as we can. 

On this page we will keep track of the causes we've supported and events we've run, and we will upload pictures and posters from the events - you can find these linked next to each event. 

Here you can find a list of our chosen 2025 charities. This wll be updated as we work through them with the campaigns we used to fundraise, as well as national campaigns we have supported.
