Repre­­sen­­ta­­tives from clubs across Scotland came together on Friday 22nd of March for the 53rd HASSRA Scotland AGM and Awards Night at the Civil Service sports club in Perth.Michael Shields gives an update on the Calendar and Competitions

As well as electing the HASSRA Scotland Committee of Management (CoM) for the year ahead, the AGM heard reports on our finances for the past year, an update on our commu­­nica­­tions, including our shiny new website, and our efforts on social media, updates on competitions and our calendar for 2019, our very successful events for 2018, and some of the events coming up soon, and an update on our current membership levels and recruitment activities.

Reading of the poem about George McLellan

The AGM closed with a presentation to chairperson George McLellan on his recent retirement, including a poem of his career and HASSRA involvement, which got a fair few laughs.

Delegates reconvened  in the evening for a meal, the presentation of awards, and some epic, epic dancing.

Nominations were of a very high standard as always, and MCs Jacky Sneddon and Michael Shields pointed out the huge amount of excellent activities that go on across Scotland by clubs big and small, however, there have to be winners, and this year, they were;
