Secretary

The role of the Secretary is key to the success of a club. The secretary acts as a conduit between the Chair and the committee.

The key respon­­sibi­­lities of the secretary are outlined below:

  • Arrange committee meetings
  • Arrange the club AGM
  • Issue communications to members as agreed by your committee.
  • Keep a record of events and activities through the year, including charity fundraising; this can be used to compile the club annual report/award submission at the end of each year.
  • Work with the Chair and committee to organise events, offering advice and guidance where necessary.
