Venue and Timings

The event will commence at 13:00 on Friday 4th September and will continue all day on Saturday 5th September. Players must attend both days.

The event will be held at the Victoria Park Bowling Green, Archery Road, Leamington Spa. CV31 3PT. Travel arrangements will be advised in due course.

Event Format and Rules

This is a National Championship event.

Each region will be invited to select one competitor for the men’s singles and one competitor for the ladies’ singles, plus a further two competitors for the pairs competition. Players may not compete in both singles and pairs competitions.

All play shall be governed by “World Bowls - Laws of the Sport of Bowls, Crystal Mark Second Edition” as applied by Bowls England.

 Further competition rules and the order of play will be made available to all competitors prior to the event.

Kit and Equipment

The competition will be held outdoors. All competitors are therefore advised to bring appropriate clothing to play in all conditions.

Players need to bring their own equipment and have correct clothing/­footwear.

Lunch will be provided and further refreshments will be available to purchase.

Although some prior experience is recommended in order to take part in this event, it is not essential.
