Friday 10 October – Different Styles of Chardonnay and Shiraz Quarry House Canteen 17:30
Irene Schwehla will be presenting different styles of the chardonnay and shiraz grape. We will be comparing some traditional examples with some from unusual places like England and Tasmania. We will also be tasting wines from the medium to high price range. It will be interesting to see the contrasting taste and styles and whether the dearer wines are worth the price. We will be tasting 1 rose, 3 whites and 2 reds. All the wines were purchased from The Wine Society.
Overall
price will depend on final numbers, but it is likely to be in the region of
£12.00 for HASSRA members and £19.00 for non-members.
