Pickleball

Venue and Timings.

This will be an all-day event on Saturday 5th September.

It will take place in The Sports and Wellbeing Hub on the University Campus, a short walk from the HASSRA reception.

Regions are invited to enter two competitors for this event.

NOTE - players should have a basic knowledge of the sport.

Please do not put forward members who have no knowledge of this sport. 

Full details of the days format will be sent to the competitors prior to the event. 

Balls will be provided (Franklin X40 competition) but players are expected to use their own paddle.

Pickleball - an overview:

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of table tennis, tennis and squash. It is usually played in doubles (2 vs 2) on a set court or on a badminton court with the net adjusted downwards to the correct height. Players use solid paddles and a perforated plastic ball, designed for indoor or outdoor play. RULES - Pickleball England
