The Walk: The walk is about 6½ miles in length, largely on fairly level ground, but with a single climb up to the village of Middlesmoor. Views from Middlesmoor down the dale are stunning.

No public transport I'm afraid.
Clothing: The terrain may be muddy and uneven in parts so appropriate footwear will be needed. Given the unpredictable weather, please bring/wear suitable clothing/layers.Food & drink: Bring a packed lunch unless you would like to have lunch following the walk at the Wellington Inn, in nearby Daley – please let Jerry know
