Venue and Timings

This will be an all-day event on Saturday 6th September. It will take place at The Sports and Wellness Hub on the University Campus, a short walk from the HASSRA reception

Event Format and Rules

This is a National Championship event.

Each region will be invited to enter one team of 10 players, including three substitutes.

Regions will be drawn into two groups, with matches played on a round-robin basis. If less than six teams enter, there will only be one group. However, the competition will still be on a round-robin basis.

A match shall consist of two halves of seven minutes each way, with a one minute break at half time. The final will be 10 minutes each way, time permitting.

A full set of rules and an order of play will be issued to all competitors prior to the event.

Kit and Equipment

Suitable footwear should be worn. The courts are outside so plimsolls or lightweight trainers are not appropriate.

Competitors will be provided with their regional kit.

Match balls will also be provided. Games will be played under International Federation of Netball (IFN) rules and umpired by IFN officials.

There are changing facilities, including showers and lockers. There is also a suitable area for spectators.

Lunch will be provided and refreshments will be available to purchase.
