Venue and Timings

This will be an all-day event on Saturday 6th September.

It will take place in the Sports and Wellness Hub on the University Campus.

Event Format and Rules

This is a National Championship event.

Each region will be invited to select a maximum of one male and one female to take part in this competition.

The event will consist of two competitions:

· Ladies’ Singles

· Men’s Singles

Both competitions will be played in groups on a round-robin basis. The number of groups will be determined by the number of entries. Group stage matches will be the best of three sets.

A full set of rules and playing schedule will be issued to all competitors prior to the event.

Kit and Equipment

Suitable indoor footwear and clothing should be worn.

Competitors will need to provide their own squash racquet. Non marking, yellow spot balls will be provided.

Lunch will be provided and refreshments will be available to purchase.

There are changing facilities, including showers and lockers. There is also a suitable area for spectators.

Although some prior experience is recommended to take part in this event, it is not essential.
