Angling Taster Day 2024

Quarry House Angling Club Open Day

Saturday 20th July 2024

Fishing is one of the largest participative sports in the UK. Its an activity in the open air away from the television, which provides a focus and interest.

Why not find out what you have been missing or perhaps you’ve dabbled before and would like to get back into it?

The Quarry House Angling Club has arranged its sixteenth open day at Kippax Park for you to do just that. You, your partner or any member of your family are cordially invited to join club members and try your hand at the art of coarse fishing – accompanied children are especially welcome.

Members of the club will be in attendance between 10am to 3.00pm to advise you just come down and spend as long as you like. All licences, tackle and bait will be supplied – please wear suitable footwear; if possible bring something to sit on and a towel or wipes would be useful!

Refreshments and a raffle will be available with all proceeds going to the fabulous Candlelighters - fighting children’s cancer in Leeds. If you are interested please let George Roe - 01937 919173 know in advance.

Kippax Park, Brigshaw Lane, Kippax LS25 7RS.

From the centre of Kippax go down the hill and fork left onto Brigshaw Lane when the road turns right into Station Road. The entrance to the fishery is a few hundred yards on your left.
